La horquilla Öhlins RXF 36 se basa en el éxito de la 34 pero ofrece más rigidez y espacio para el uso de cubiertas más grandes. Funciona mediante un diseño de resorte con tres cámaras de aire (dos positivas y una negativa) y utiliza nuestra exclusiva tecnología de amortiguado TTX. Combinadas estas dos características permiten un flujo de aceite paralelo e independiente que controla los niveles de presión generales. En sentido práctico esto significa que garantizamos que la horquilla conserva una posición alta en su trayectoria asegurando así suavidad y una absorción de los baches predecible durante todo el recorrido.

El tipo de fuerza del resorte se puede además ajustar ofreciendo a los usuarios opciones de adaptación a sus preferencias por ejemplo mayor sensibilidad sin peligro de llegar a la parte inferior. Öhlins ha aumentado el tamaño de los soportes a 36 mm y elevado el espaciado a 110 mm con un diseño de corona de aleación de dos piezas ultra rígido. Esto significa que la flexibilidad se reducirá para ofrecer mayor control de las cubiertas disminuyendo además algo de peso.

Keeping with this no-expenses-spared theme we scrutinized every detail of the SL Pro to ensure that it'll exceed the most demanding of expectations. And when it comes to high quality bib shorts it all starts at the fabric. Of course this meant that we utilized our ultra-soft and highly breathable VaporRize™ materials to provide the utmost in moisture management and support. In addition to this we also implemented our Cold Fabric technology that reduces the surface temperature of the fabric as well as a vent channel on the lower back that assists in increasing ventilation while also decreasing perspiration. Meanwhile the fit has also been given a tremendous amount of detail. You'll find that it follows an articulated design in order to accommodate the movements and position of cycling. And to make sure that the fit holds we designed the leg openings around a silicone infused fabric cuff that gently yet firmly holds the legs in place. Not only that but the bib uppers feature a welded construction that's free from seams in order to eliminate unwanted friction while also strongly holding the braces in place. At the chamois we included a top of the line insert the Body Geometry SL Pro. This chamois has padding with a multi-density design that varies the degree of support in perfect harmony with the body. And as a result you'll find that it significantly reduces pressure on the soft tissue and nerves creating a ride feel and degree of comfort that's nothing short of sublime.

Pants are fine for downhill when your day consists of hanging out in a shade tent and just doing a couple of runs before getting on the podium. But when you're hitting line after line trail after trail nothing compares to shorts. More specifically nothing compares to our Demo Pro Shorts.

We made them from a woven version of our lightweight and ultra-breathable VaporRize™ fabrics. As a result the shorts are more than tough enough to take repeated spills while you're finding your line (or losing it) without sacrificing anything to comfort. And to further this concept they also include laser perforated venting that's just as effective at dumping excess heat as mesh only it doesn't create a weakness in the overall strength of the shorts. In essence this means that you won't find yourself blowing these shorts out for a long time to come.

In terms of fit you'll find that these shorts are plenty baggy enough to layer body armor and pads and there are side waist adjustment tabs that keep the waist where you want when the pockets are loaded. And for all-year riding the Demo Pros also have the added benefit of being treated to be water-repellant.

But more than just a feel good sentence to talk about over coffee (before you compost it) these features actually work to accelerate moisture management and odor neutralization.

With the fabric dialed-in we set about creating a fit that will work for riders over the entire mountain—not too loose not too tight—and we'd like to think that we nailed it.
