The goal for the Roval engineering team was simple—the Rapide Cockpit had to be the fastest bar we’ve ever made with no compromises. It’s aero light stiff and designed hand-in-hand with the best riders in the world and our Retül fit experts so you can get a grip on victory.AERODYNAMIC: Removing the cluster of hardware (where stem and handlebar connect) allowed us to design the bar’s leading edge a single airfoil. We optimized this airfoil to provide a maximum advantage in clean air at speeds seen from long solo breakaways to full gas World Tour sprints. While a four watt improvement may seem small it adds up to a 32cm lead over a 250m final sprint. Traverse SL 35mm Handlebars

DH tough and XC light the Traverse SL 35 is our handlebar premiere and capitalizes on our decades of carbon fiber experience to deliver precise control and exceptional comfort along with class leading strength to weight performance.

Handlebars have grown wider in recent years and this has presented some interesting challenges. Because bars are wider leverage stress exerted at the stem has risen dramatically. The Traverse SL features a 35mm diameter at the stem clamp; this increases strength in this crucial zone while also dissipating the bar clamp load across a larger surface area. More secure clamping and a stronger handlebar – these are good things. Meanwhile our extensive experience with carbon fiber allows us to ensure maximum strength at the clamp and then tailor the carbon fiber layup to providing damping at the bar-ends resulting in a more comfortable less fatiguing ride. The Traverse SL 35 is strong enough to attack the gnarliest terrain durable and comfortable enough to hammer the chunder day in day out and light enough to make XC racers smile.

Rendimiento total hemos hecho todo lo necesario para hacer que el Alpinist Cockpit sea el conjunto de manillar / potencia de una pieza más ligero que supera todos los estándares. Con 274 gramos (110 mm x 420 mm) es más de 100 g más ligero que la competencia. Manillar Control SL 35mm

Para las carreras XC la rigidez es igual a velocidad. Esto es lo que impulsó nuestro pensamiento al diseñar el manillar Roval Control SL. Inspirándonos en la tecnología de las bicicletas de trail sabíamos que una tapa de manillar de 35 mm de ancho nos daría la rigidez que exigían nuestros atletas y funcionaría como la columna vertebral de nuestro carbono ultraligero colocado a mano.

Es ligero… Me gusta 185 gramos de peso ligero.

Pero el peso ligero y la rigidez no son las únicas piezas del rompecabezas. Los ciclistas también necesitan un control de alta precisión al descender y una posición cómoda y sostenible en las subidas extenuantes. El ancho de 780 mm del Roval Control SL te permite marcar el tamaño perfecto y su geometría probada en el Campeonato Mundial le ofrece la confianza para atacar cualquier segmento.

Aprovechando nuestras innumerables horas de pruebas en nuestro Win Tunnel hemos diseñado el manillar Rapide para cortar el viento con tanta eficiencia como el filo de un cuchillo y al mismo tiempo ofrecer la máxima comodidad mientras el viento golpea en la parte delantera. Una superficie texturizada en la parte superior garantiza un agarre seguro y cómodo incluso cuando está mojado cuenta con un pequeño escalón que superpone la cinta del manillar al ras de la parte superior el perfil aerodinámico está desplazado hacia adelante para ofrecer mayor espacio para el antebrazo y la rodilla con 225 gramos el Rapide es el manillar aerodinámico más ligero de su clase.
